The Pusch Ridge Christian Academy Lions will face off against the Coolidge Bears at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Pusch Ridge Christian Academy is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 32.6 points per game this season.

The home team had come away the winner the last four times Pusch Ridge Christian Academy and Sabino had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Lions walked away with a 21-8 win over the Sabercats on Friday.

A big part of Pusch Ridge Christian Academy's victory came down to the chemistry between Race Pinneo and his top target Dominic Painter. Pinneo threw for 145 yards and three touchdowns while Painter picked up 60 receiving yards and a pair of TDs.

Pusch Ridge Christian Academy's run defense was locked in: Sabino could only muster 0.8 yards per carry. The Lions' ground attack was stronger, having averaged 3.7.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Coolidge). They slipped by ALA - Mesa North 41-40 on Friday. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Bears considering their two-point performance the game before.

Coolidge now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Pusch Ridge Christian Academy, their win bumped their record up to 6-1.

Everything came up roses for Pusch Ridge Christian Academy against Coolidge in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, as the squad secured a 68-0 victory. Will the Lions repeat their success, or do the Bears have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
