Baseball Recap: Southeastern Jungaleers vs. Hazel Park Vikings

Southeastern had to hit the road for their first game and sadly it wasn't the result they were hoping for. Their tough 12-2 loss to the Hazel Park Vikings on Wednesday might stick with them for a while.

For Hazel Park's part, Cavion Wade looked comfortable as he struck out six batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and not a single walk).

At the plate, Brady Dixon was incredible, going 3-for-4 with four RBI, a stolen base, and a run. Ryan Smith was another key contributor, going 2-for-2 with two stolen bases, a triple, and a run.

The victory got Hazel Park back to even at 1-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Southeastern will challenge Denby at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Hazel Park, they will head out on the road to face off against Warren Woods-Tower at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
