Volleyball Game Preview: Amplus Academy Archers vs. Clark Chargers

The Amplus Academy Archers will challenge the Clark Chargers at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Last Tuesday, Amplus Academy came up short against Silverado and fell 3-1.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 23-25, 25-16, 25-14.

Paul Costa put forth a good effort for the losing side as he had 19 digs. Rylan Tolentino also deserves some recognition as he served his first aces of the season.

Meanwhile, Clark was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of Las Vegas.

While Clark ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 17 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-17, 25-20, 23-25, 25-18.

Amplus Academy dropped their record down to 1-11 with the loss, which was their fifth straight on the road. As for Clark, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-17.
