Softball Recap: Manchester Regional Takes a Loss

Manchester Regional was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 16th straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Glen Rock Panthers, falling 21-0. The Falcons were not able to make up for their defeat to the Panthers from their previous meeting back in May of 2024.

Manchester Regional's loss dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Glen Rock, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Manchester Regional will head out to face off against Garfield at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday. The Boilermakers have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 14.86 runs per game on average), something the Falcons will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Glen Rock, they will venture away from home to challenge River Dell at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
