Baseball Recap: Denmark Takes a Loss

Denmark came into their game on Monday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 16-2 to the Seymour Thunder. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Vikings have suffered since May 29, 2024.

Denmark saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Josh Gajeski, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one run.

Denmark's defeat dropped their record down to 6-11. As for Seymour, the victory (which was their 12th in a row) raised their record to 18-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Denmark will face off against Fox Valley Lutheran at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Seymour, they will challenge Shawano Community at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
