Timberline took a ten-run defeat the last time they faced off against Owyhee, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Wolves had just enough and edged out the Storm 4-3 on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Wolves have posted since April 22, 2024.

Timberline got a great performance from Garrett Mirel as he pitched 6.2 innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off five hits.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Logan Thistle, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3.

Timberline's win ended a ten-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-12. As for Owyhee, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 16-1.
