Volleyball Game Preview: East Troy Trojans vs. Waupaca Comets

The East Troy Trojans will take on the Waupaca Comets in a tournament on Saturday.

East Troy is headed into the matchup having just suffered their biggest loss since September 11th on Tuesday. They came up short against Jefferson, falling 3-0. The Trojans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The defeat didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Jefferson scored at least 20 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-21, 25-21.

Waupaca not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since September 16th (when they won 3-0). Everything went their way against Clintonville as they made off with a 3-0 victory. The Comets haven't had any issues with the Truckers recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive win against them.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Waupaca was: they took every set by at least 11 points. The final score came out to 25-9, 25-8, 25-14.

East Troy's loss dropped their record down to 10-13. As for Waupaca, their victory bumped their record up to 15-10.
