Softball Recap: Washington Union Takes a Loss

Thursday just wasn't the day for Washington Union's offense. They came up short against the Immanuel Eagles on Thursday, falling 10-0. The defeat continues a trend for the Panthers in their meetings with the Eagles: they've now lost six in a row.

Washington Union saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Camden Fusi, who went 1-for-2 with one triple. That triple was Fusi's first of the season.

Washington Union's loss dropped their record down to 5-13. As for Immanuel, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 13-5-2.

Coming up, Washington Union will host Kerman at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Panthers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Lions have averaged an impressive 6.6 runs per game this season. As for Immanuel, they will venture away from home to take on Exeter at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
