Baseball Recap: Armwood Find Success

Armwood pushed their score to 11 the last time they played Chamberlain, but on Tuesday they couldn't quite do it again. The Armwood Hawks narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Chamberlain Storm 3-1. This was payback for the Hawks, who suffered a 12-11 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Zalen Hicks spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered a run (which was unearned) on two hits.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Carlos Navarro, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2.
