The Vandercook Lake Jayhawks's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their ninth straight loss. They had to suffer through a rough 77-41 loss at the hands of Hanover-Horton. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Vandercook Lake in their matchups with the Comets: they've now lost four in a row.

Hanover-Horton was led to victory by Luke Soper and Logan Blackledge. Soper scored 18 points along with seven rebounds and six assists, while Blackledge scored 24 points along with six assists and three steals. Blackledge has been hot recently, having posted 19 or more points the last five times he's played. Another player making a difference was Jack Wooster, who scored ten points.

Vandercook Lake's loss was their 16th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-14. As for Hanover-Horton, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 11-6.
