Triton is 7-1 against Pine Forest since April of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Hawks will welcome the Trojans at 6:00 p.m. Triton is coming into the match hot, having won their last four games.

Triton's pitching crew heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Wednesday. They were the clear victors by a 15-0 margin over Terry Sanford. The Hawks might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight contests by ten runs or more this season.

Meanwhile, Pine Forest came up short against Triton on Tuesday and fell 8-4. The Trojans have struggled against the Hawks recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost meeting.

Mya Harris spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned (and five unearned) runs on seven hits and racked up 12 Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Savannah Winstead and Jaelyn Green did some serious damage despite the final result: Winstead scored two runs and stole five bases while going 3-for-3, while Green got on base in three of her four plate appearances with one home run, three RBI, and one stolen base. Another player making a difference was Gracie Miller, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-4.

Triton's win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-2. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.7 runs on average over those games. As for Pine Forest, they now have a losing record of 5-6.
