Del Valle had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5 goals) and they went ahead and made it four on Saturday. They came within a single goal of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the El Dorado Aztecs. That's more bragging rights for the Conquistadores, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Gael Perez and Hiram Chavez scored both of Del Valle's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 12 goals.

Del Valle now has a winning record of 8-7. As for El Dorado, their loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 5-1 and their overall record down to 9-4.

Coincidentally, Del Valle and El Dorado will both be playing Americas the next time they take the pitch. Del Valle will host Americas at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, while El Dorado will head out to face them at 10:30 a.m. on February 22nd.
