There's no place like home for Grants, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They came out on top against the Highland Hornets by a score of 52-44 on Friday. This was a revenge game for the Pirates: when they faced off against the Hornets back in January, they had to take a 58-45 defeat.

Highland's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Rebecca Neal, who posted five points along with 17 boards and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Breanna Payton, who went 6-for-13 to rack up 14 points and seven rebounds.

Grants' record now sits at 10-15. As for Highland, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-11.

Looking ahead, Grants will head out to square off against Belen at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Grants is facing Belen at the right time seeing as Belen is stuck on a nine-game losing streak. As for Highland, they will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against Valencia at 7:00 p.m.
