Baseball Game Preview: Londonderry Lancers vs. Windham Jaguars

Londonderry is a perfect 4-0 against Windham since June of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Lancers will be playing at home against the Jaguars at 4:00 p.m. The last three games Londonderry has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

While Londonderry's victory against Nashua South wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Lancers had just enough and edged out the Purple Panthers 10-8. The Lancers haven't had any issues with the Purple Panthers recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

Jace Ruggerio and Caden Jordan did most of the damage at the plate: Ruggerio went 3-for-4 with three runs, one stolen base, and one double, while Jordan went 1-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and one double. Those three hits gave Ruggerio a new career-high. Jet Jones was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two doubles and one RBI.

Meanwhile, Windham came up short against Winnacunnet on Friday and fell 6-2. The Jaguars haven't had much luck with the Warriors recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Windham now has a losing record of 8-9. As for Londonderry, their victory bumped their record up to 18-3-1.

Everything went Londonderry's way against Windham in their previous matchup back in May of 2024, as Londonderry made off with a 9-0 win. Do the Lancers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Jaguars turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
