Baseball Recap: Detroit Triumphs

Detroit proved they can win big last Friday (they won by seven) and on Monday they proved they can win the close ones too. They skirted past the Bland Tigers 10-9. The Eagles have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Tigers, too.

Detroit is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-2 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.8 runs over those games. Bland is on a nine-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Looking ahead, Detroit will challenge Pewitt at 4:30 p.m. on March 11th. We've got a battle between Tigers coming up.
