Lincoln Southwest is a perfect 10-0 against Lincoln North Star since April of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Silver Hawks will host the Navigators at 6:00 p.m. Lincoln Southwest is coming into the game hot, having won their last five games.

Lincoln Southwest is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Nebraska's top teams: Lincoln East, who was ranked fifth at the time (Lincoln Southwest was ranked second). The Silver Hawks' defense stepped up to hand the Spartans a 3-0 shutout on Friday. The result was nothing new for Lincoln Southwest, who have now won seven matchups by three goals or more so far this season.

They hit Lincoln East with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Mallory Arehart, Peyton Held, and Ansley Throener.

Meanwhile, Friday just wasn't the day for Lincoln North Star's offense. They came up short against Columbus on Friday, falling 5-0. Lincoln North Star have struggled against Columbus recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost meeting.

Lincoln Southwest pushed their record up to 11-1 with the win, which was their third straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those three contests. As for Lincoln North Star, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-8.

Everything went Lincoln Southwest's way against Lincoln North Star in their previous matchup back in March of 2024, as Lincoln Southwest made off with a 5-0 win. Will the Silver Hawks repeat their success, or do the Navigators have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
