Recap: Eldorado Sundevils vs. Southeast Career Tech Roadrunners
The Eldorado Sundevils's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Wednesday after their fourth straight loss. They were dealt a 72-18 loss at the hands of Southeast Career Tech. Eldorado has not had much luck with Southeast Career Tech recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Despite the loss, Eldorado still got an impressive performance from Elisa Flores, who scored 18 points.
Morgan Sweet was her usual excellent self, scoring 20 points along with seven rebounds for Southeast Career Tech. Trystan Bazile was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with nine rebounds.
Eldorado's defeat was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 1-9. As for Southeast Career Tech, their win bumped their record up to 7-11.
Eldorado will look to defend their home court on Friday against Amplus Academy at 6:30 p.m. Amplus Academy comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 15 points in their last five games, a trend the team is of course eager to reverse. As for Southeast Career Tech, they will head out on the road to square off against Cheyenne at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Nevada (Cheyenne is ranked 75th, while Southeast Career Tech is ranked 76th).
