Basketball Game Preview: Everett Warriors vs. Tussey Mountain Titans

The Everett Warriors will head out on the road to face off against the Tussey Mountain Titans at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Everett's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last seven contests.

Everett is probably headed into the game with a chip on their shoulder considering McConnellsburg just ended the team's six-game winning streak on Tuesday. They came up short against the Spartans, falling 79-59. While losing is never fun, the Warriors can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 434th, while the Spartans are ranked 135th).

Meanwhile, Tussey Mountain had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 15.7 points) and they went ahead and made it four on Tuesday. They walked away with a 51-40 victory over the Panthers.

Tussey Mountain's win bumped their record up to 9-10. As for Everett, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-8.

Everett strolled past Tussey Mountain in their previous matchup back in January by a score of 63-45. The rematch might be a little tougher for Everett since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
