Strom Thurmond had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the eight-run drubbing they dealt Chester on Tuesday. The Rebels put the hurt on the Cyclones with a sharp 10-2 victory. Considering the Rebels have won seven contests by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Strom Thurmond is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 13 games. That's provided a massive bump to their 10-8 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.5 runs over those games. As for Chester, their loss dropped their record down to 11-9.
