Volleyball Recap: Clovis North Comes Up Short

Clovis North was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Clovis Cougars. Unfortunately, that's the fourth time they've come up short against the Cougars this season, with their most recent loss being a 3-1 defeat back in September.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-14, 25-18.

Clovis North's loss dropped their record down to 8-23. As for Clovis, they are on a roll lately: they've won 14 of their last 15 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 29-4 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Clovis North is set to challenge their familiar foe Central East at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Clovis will square off against rival Clovis East at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
