Basketball Recap: Christian Academy of Greater St. Louis Picks Up Second Consecutive Victory

Christian Academy of Greater St. Louis won the last time they faced New Life Christian, and Ricardo Jones did his part to make sure it happened again. Everything went the Christian Academy of Greater St. Louis Crusaders' way against the New Life Christian Crusaders on Thursday as the Christian Academy of Greater St. Louis Crusaders made off with a 69-47 victory thanks in part to Jones, who went 17 of 38 on his way to 35 points and eight steals. His afternoon made it ten games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points.

The team also got some help courtesy of Kaleb Hardy, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 24 rebounds. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in boards.

The win made it two in a row for Christian Academy of Greater St. Louis and bumps their season record up to 8-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. After both having extra time off, Christian Academy of Greater St. Louis and Heritage Classical Christian Academy will dust off their jerseys to challenge one another at 6:30 p.m. on January 7, 2025. As for New Life Christian, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Crosspoint Christian at 6:00 p.m. on January 31, 2025.
