Recap: Jubilee Lions vs. Victoria Cobra HomeSchool Cobra
Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but unfortunately for the Jubilee Lions, they weren't the ones who walked away with it. They were beaten by Victoria Cobra HomeSchool 53-8 on Saturday. Jubilee was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 41-8.
Victoria Cobra HomeSchool got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Phoenix Robertson out in front who rushed for 148 yards and three touchdowns on only six carries. Robertson was no stranger to the big play, taking off on a dash that went for 64 yards. Luke Briscoe also deserves a shout-out for his two touchdowns.
Jubilee's loss dropped their record down to 6-4. As for Victoria Cobra HomeSchool, the victory for they keeps them at an undefeated 10-0.
Jubilee does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Victoria Cobra HomeSchool will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Bastrop. Bastrop will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings (they are ranked 574th, while Victoria Cobra HomeSchool is ranked 48th).
