Baseball Game Preview: Farmington Knights vs. Fox Warriors

The Farmington Knights are taking a road trip to challenge the Fox Warriors at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Farmington is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.6 runs per game this season.

The home team had won the previous six meetings between Farmington and Seckman, and Seckman kept the tradition alive. The Knights fell 6-2 to the Jaguars on Thursday.

Farmington saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cooper Tripp, who went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, one run, and one double.

Meanwhile, Fox gave up the first runs on Wednesday, but they didn't let that get them down. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past Lindbergh 6-4.

Fox's victory was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-5 and their overall record up to 11-14. As for Farmington, their defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 18-10.

Farmington was able to grind out a solid win over Fox when the teams last played back in April of 2025, winning 5-2. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Knights since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
