Orland gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Friday. Everything went their way against the Paradise Bobcats as the Orland Trojans made off with a 46-21 victory. With the Trojans ahead 27-7 at the half, the match was all but over already.

Orland was led to victory by Luke Schager and Manny Rodriguez. Schager rushed for 164 yards and three touchdowns on only eight carries, while Rodriguez rushed for 125 yards and two touchdowns on only 13 carries. Schager's longest rush was for an impressive 58 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total. Manny Martin got in on the action as well, returning a kick for a touchdown.
