Softball Recap: Wheeler Wildcats vs. Walton Raiders
Wheeler lost against Walton back in August, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Wheeler Wildcats came up short against the Walton Raiders, falling 11-4. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Kayla Hutchinson made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with a triple and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Jada Charlton, who scored two runs while going 1-for-3.
Wheeler's defeat dropped their record down to 6-11. As for Walton, their win bumped their record up to 10-12.
Wheeler is on the road again on Tuesday to play Washington at 5:30 p.m. As for Walton, they will play host again on Thursday to welcome Lassiter, where first pitch is scheduled at 5:00 p.m.
