Football Recap: Flathead Takes a Loss

Flathead had lost four straight on the road, but on Friday they dropped down to 2-6 to make it five. They took a 21-7 bruising from the Sentinel Spartans. If the Braves/Bravettes were looking for revenge after losing 25-23 to the Spartans when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Eli Coopman threw for 66 yards on nine of 20 attempts. Tim Zundel was his top target, picking up 32 receiving yards. On the ground, Leum Saisbury rushed for 59 yards.

As for Sentinel, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-2. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 28.0 points over those games.

Rudy Hess went supernova, rushing for 113 yards and two touchdowns on only 13 carries, while also throwing for 73 yards and one TD while completing 87.5% of his passes. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in passer rating (152.6).

As of now, neither Flathead nor Sentinel have any future games scheduled.
