Volleyball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Falls City

While Falls City's win against Refugio wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Beavers sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 victory over the Bobcats on Saturday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 on Tuesday.

Despite the loss, Refugio still got an impressive performance from Ja'Zae-Lynne Lewis, who had 11 digs and five blocks. Lewis is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Aiyanna Brown, who had 15 digs.

Falls City didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Orange Grove on the 16th. As for Refugio, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Jourdanton on the 16th.
