After losing to Maxwell the last time they met, Cimarron decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Rams put the hurt on the Bears with a sharp 3-0 victory on Thursday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Rams.

Cimarron's got stronger as the match went on, holding Maxwell to fewer and fewer points set over set. The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-12, 25-10.

Cimarron's win bumped their record up to 5-13. As for Maxwell, they dropped their record down to 7-9 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Cimarron is set to take on their familiar foe Wagon Mound at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Maxwell will square off against rival Springer at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
