Bryce Hinsdale was huge while hitting and pitching even without the win. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run while striking out eight over six innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than one walk in four consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-3 with two stolen bases.

In other batting news, Gavin Burchanowski was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-4 with three stolen bases, one run, and one RBI.

Meanwhile, Westfield came up short against Maple Grove on Monday and fell 5-2.
