Football Preview: Ness City Eagles vs. St. Francis Indians

The Ness City Eagles will take on the St. Francis Indians at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Ness City is coming into the contest on a four-game losing streak.

Ness City is headed into the matchup out to prove that what happened against LaCrosse on Friday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Ness City had to suffer through a 54-8 loss at the hands of LaCrosse. That's two games in a row now that the Eagles have lost by exactly 46 points.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask St. Francis). They blew past Stockton 57-6 on Friday. The result was nothing new for the Indians, who have now won four matches by 48 points or more so far this season.

Lucas Raile was his usual excellent self, throwing for 184 yards and seven touchdowns, while also rushing for 62 yards on only seven carries. Dayton Fromholtz was another key player, picking up 102 receiving yards and four touchdowns.
