Silver Lake Regional is 6-0-1 against North Quincy since September of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Lakers will take on the Raiders at 4:00 p.m. Silver Lake Regional will be strutting in after a win while North Quincy will be coming in after a defeat.

Meanwhile, North Quincy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They came up short against Scituate, falling 5-0. While losing is never fun, North Quincy can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Massachusetts soccer rankings (they are ranked 286th, while Scituate are ranked 133rd).

Silver Lake Regional's win bumped their record up to 6-7-1. As for North Quincy, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-9.

Silver Lake Regional took their victory against North Quincy when the teams last played back in October of 2024 by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Lakers since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
