Volleyball Recap: Pittsville Comes Up Short

Pittsville was the 2-1 winner over Nekoosa when they last played one another back in August of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Panthers took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Papermakers on Tuesday.

The final score came out to 25-17, 25-15.

Pittsville's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Nekoosa, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Pittsville has already played their next game, a 2-1 loss against Onalaska on the 27th. As for Nekoosa, they are packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game of the season: they will challenge Berlin at 7:00 p.m. on September 4.
