There's no place like home for Lutheran North, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Wednesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the University City Lions on Thursday. The victory continues a trend for the Crusaders in their matchups with the Lions: they've now won seven in a row.

The win didn't come easy: University City scored at least 20 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-22, 26-24.

Haley Nelson paced Lutheran North's offense, picking up nine kills. Nelson got some help from Jayla Everage and her 15 assists. Everage was also solid from the service line: she led the team with ten aces.

The victory got Lutheran North back to even at 2-2. As for University City, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Looking ahead, Lutheran North will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Burroughs at 6:00 p.m. The Crusaders are facing the Bombers at the right time seeing as the Bombers are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for University City, they will take on Hazelwood East at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
