Football Recap: Draughn Takes a Loss

Draughn fell victim to Freedom and their airtight defense on Friday. They were dealt a 68-0 loss at the hands of the Patriots. The defeat continues a trend for the Wildcats in their meetings with the Patriots: they've now lost six in a row.

Draughn's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Freedom, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Looking ahead, Draughn will square off against Wilkes Central at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Freedom, they will head out to take on East Burke at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
