Volleyball Recap: Key West Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Key West can now relate to. They came up short against the St. Brendan Sabres on Friday, falling 3-0. The Conchs haven't had much luck with the Sabres recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-17, 25-10.

Key West's loss dropped their record down to 16-11. As for St. Brendan, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 10-10 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Key West will venture away from home to challenge Mater Lakes Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for St. Brendan, they will head out to square off against Estero at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
