Basketball Recap: Jerome Takes a Loss

Jerome was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They fell 45-34 to the Minico Spartans. The Tigers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Spartans apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February of 2025.

Jerome's loss dropped their record down to 1-12. As for Minico, they pushed their record up to 6-9 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Jerome will venture away from home to take on Wood River at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Minico, they will head out to challenge Twin Falls at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Spartans will need to watch out since the Bruins have now posted at least 55 points in their last three contests.
