Blair-Taylor had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the New Lisbon Rockets a 9-0 shutout on Thursday. The Wildcats might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 13 contests by six runs or more this season.

The victory made it two in a row for Blair-Taylor and bumps their season record up to 17-8. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 1 runs in those games. As for New Lisbon, they now have a losing record of 10-11.

As of now, neither Blair-Taylor nor the Rockets have any future games scheduled.
