Moore had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7.8 runs) and they went ahead and made it five on Friday. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Westmoore Jaguars. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Lions also won the last time the pair played back in March of 2024.

Moore's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 20-6. The road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.7 runs on average over those games. As for Westmoore, their loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 16-8.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Moore will host Edmond Santa Fe at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Westmoore, they will look to defend their home field on Monday against Putnam City North at 5:00 p.m.
