Basketball Recap: Crossville Comes Up Short

Crossville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were beaten by the Geraldine Bulldogs 44-15. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Lions this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 71-28 back in November of 2024.

Crossville's defeat dropped their record down to 3-18. As for Geraldine, with the win, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 9-14.

Both are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. Crossville will face off against Sardis at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Geraldine, they are taking a road trip to face off against Asbury at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Asbury will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Geraldine surely won't give up without a fight.
