McLean proved they can win big on Friday (they won by six) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Wakefield Warriors 9-7. The win continues a trend for the Highlanders in their matchups with the Warriors: they've now won six in a row.

McLean's record is now 12-3. As for Wakefield, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 13-6 record this season.

McLean will square off against George C. Marshall at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Wakefield does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
