With a playoff win on the line, Marlin rose to the challenge on Friday. They secured a 60-54 W over the Shelbyville Dragons. The score was all tied up 27-27 at the break, but the Bulldogs were the better team in the second half.

Marlin pushed their record up to 24-4 with the win, which was their eighth straight on the road. As for Shelbyville, their loss ended a 13-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 28-4.

Coming up, Marlin will face off against Hearne on Monday. Hearne will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something Marlin surely won't give up without a fight. Shelbyville does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
