The squads are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: Southern Wake Academy has struggled recently with 11 defeats in a row, while River Mill will arrive with three straight wins.

Southern Wake Academy is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They lost 14-1 to River Mill on Friday.

For River Mill's part, they let Aydan Smith and Harrison Saenz run wild. Smith scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-3, while Saenz scored two runs while going 2-for-3. That's the most hits Saenz has posted since back in March of 2024.
