Baseball Game Preview: Pine-Richland Rams vs. Fox Chapel Foxes

For the second straight game, Pine-Richland will face off against Fox Chapel. Pine-Richland will host Fox Chapel at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Pine-Richland is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt wants to keep things rolling.

Pine-Richland gave up the first runs on Monday, but they didn't let that get them down. They came out on top against Fox Chapel by a score of 7-4.

Tristan Farrar looked comfortable as he pitched 2.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit.

At the plate, Jake Waddell was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run and two runs. Those two runs gave him a new career-high. Tanner Cunningham also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Pine-Richland pushed their record up to 5-0 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. As for Fox Chapel, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-3 record this season.
