Central waltzed into their game on Saturday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Covenant Christian Eagles. That's more bragging rights for the Wildcats, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Central took both sets by at least 11 points. The final score came out to 25-10, 25-14.

Ta'Maya Coman paced Central's offense, picking up five kills. Coman got some help from Elliot Neal and her eight assists. Emeri Thompson controlled things from the service line, finishing with six aces.

Central's win bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Covenant Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Central wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Wilson on the 23rd. As for Covenant Christian, they will square off against Mars Hill Bible at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
