Baseball Recap: Ocean Springs Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

While Ocean Springs's victory against Harrison Central wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Greyhounds sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 5-4 win over the Red Rebels on Saturday. The victory was familiar territory for the Greyhounds, who have now won three matchups in a row.

AJ Arguello was excellent, scoring a run and stealing two bases while going 2-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of Justin San Miguel, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-3.

Ocean Springs' win bumped their record up to 17-4-1. As for Harrison Central, their loss was their seventh straight at home, which dropped their record down to 5-15.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Ocean Springs will face off against rival D'Iberville at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Harrison Central is set to take on their familiar foe Gulfport at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
