Chicago Mt. Carmel fell victim to St. Laurence and their airtight pitching crew on Saturday. They came up short against the Vikings, falling 9-0. Having soared to a lofty 11 runs in the game before, the Caravan's shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Chicago Mt. Carmel is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 16-11. As for St. Laurence, their victory was their 12th straight at home, which pushed their record up to 24-3.
