Soccer Recap: Iroquois Comes Up Short

Iroquois was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 6-0 to the Mercyhurst Prep Lakers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Mercyhurst Prep this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 6-0 on September 11th.

Iroquois' loss dropped their record down to 1-9-1. As for Mercyhurst Prep, their win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-7.

Looking ahead, Iroquois will host Maplewood at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Maplewood's last three matches have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Mercyhurst Prep, they are taking a road trip to face off against Seneca at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
