Volleyball Recap: West Port Takes Loss Despite Strong Performances from Samantha Ramage and Keylimar Mejias

West Port lost against East Ridge back in August and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Wolf Pack came up short against the Knights, falling 3-0.

While West Port ultimately came up short, they really made East Ridge work, particularly in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 27-25, 25-18, 25-17.

West Port's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Keylimar Mejias, who had 12 digs and one assist, and Samantha Ramage, who had eight digs and two assists.

West Port's loss dropped their record down to 15-9. As for East Ridge, their victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 16-9.

Looking ahead, West Port will challenge Lake Weir at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. East Ridge does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
