Soccer Game Preview: Troy-Buchanan vs. St. Charles

The Troy-Buchanan Trojans will head out on the road to challenge the St. Charles Pirates at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Troy-Buchanan's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for four straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Having struggled with three defeats in a row, Troy-Buchanan turned things around against Howell North on Tuesday. Neither they nor the Knights could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 0-0 draw. The result (or lack thereof) marked Troy-Buchanan's first draw of the season.

Meanwhile, St. Charles kept a clean sheet against Holt on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Indians with a sharp 3-0 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for St. Charles.

Troy-Buchanan's draw makes their record 4-8-1 this season. As for St. Charles, their victory bumped their record up to 6-8.
