Jefferson Area entered their tilt with Conneaut on Tuesday with five consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with six. They put the hurt on the Spartans with a sharp 3-0 victory. The Falcons have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Spartans, too.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Jefferson Area took every set by at least 12 points. The final score came out to 25-9, 25-13, 25-9.

Jefferson Area's win bumped their record up to 9-3. As for Conneaut, their loss was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 0-9.

Coincidentally, Jefferson Area and Conneaut will both be playing Geneva the next time they take the court. The Spartans will host the Eagles at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, while the Falcons will host them at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
